We are led by a steering group of local people and organisations who represent many sections of the Brecon community. We always welcome new members, both to the steering group and as affiliate members who are kept informed of our work and events.

The Fairtrade Brecon Inititative is a group of local people who aim to :

• promote the concept of Fairtrade
• raise awareness of the FAIRTRADE Mark among businesses, retailers, employers and the general public of Brecon
• increase sales of Fairtrade produce in Brecon
• maintain and build on Brecon's status as a Fairtrade Town
